When you select the popular 5.7L HEMI V8, you'll get an 11,610-pound towing capacity thanks to 410 lb-ft of torque and 395 horsepower. The optional eTorque mild-hybrid system boosts fuel efficiency and brings the towing capacity up to 12,760 pounds. The 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel engine puts 480 lb-ft of torque and 260 horsepower to good use, hauling up to 12,560 pounds. Last but certainly not least is the Ram 1500 TRX with its mighty 6.2L supercharged V8 engine, taking you to 60 MPH from a dead stop in just 4.5 seconds with 650 lb-ft of torque and 702 horsepower! All engines come linked to the trusted TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission. The TorqueFlite transmission drives the rear wheels as standard equipment. However, the more common drivetrain here in Pennsylvania is 4x4, as it is better suited for our unpredictable weather.
