2021 Jeep Gladiator at Gary Miller CDJR

Are you looking to see what Jeep is coming up with next? Well, the 2021 model year has arrived and with it, the next evolution of the Jeep Gladiator. The biggest addition in 2021 is the diesel-powered V6 engine option that you can now include on the trim of your choice. Besides that, you'll still find all of the off-roading capabilities that you have come to expect from every single Jeep model. You'll also be enjoying a fairly large backseat compared to other midsize trucks, along with the kind of technology you've been looking for, and a certain style that is hard to ever compete with. Down below we'll be going over some of the top features that come with the 2021 Gladiator! This is the truck that you need in your life.

Advanced technology links your Gladiator to the wider world through three available Uconnect® systems, including the largest available touchscreen in its class.

Sync your iPhone® with Apple CarPlay® support and stay connected to the outside world while on the go.

Traction is key when off-roading so that every wheel works to drive the truck forward. Jeep® Brand 4x4 systems help to ensure the right tire has traction when it's needed.

Higher levels of articulation help keep all four tires on the ground to help ensure they remain stable and engaged.

Gladiator Rubicon offers two impressive ways to maximize your drive. The standard front and rear Tru-Lok® Electronic Locking Differentials offer incredible power delivery to the wheels to help maintain momentum on tough terrain with maximum traction. New for 2021, the rear axle can now be locked in 4HI Mode for use at higher speeds or on the dunes.

Branded FOX aluminum-bodied 2-inch diameter shocks transform the performance of Gladiator by using race-proven damping control to provide a comfortable on-road ride and predictable off-road handling in even the toughest conditions.

Fine-tune your adventure with Off-Road+. With a push of the button, you can adjust throttle, transmission shift points and traction control for peak performance on higher speed passes on sand dunes or low-speed rock crawling.

The heavy-duty Dana® 44 front and rear solid axles on the Gladiator have extra-thick tubes and forgings for exceptional strength, rigidity and durability.

Available Blind Spot Monitoring uses radar-based sensors to detect other vehicles and will alert you if one is traveling in your blind spot zones.

Available Adaptive Cruise Control with Full Stop automatically adjusts your driving speed to maintain a pre-selected distance from the vehicle ahead. It will bring your vehicle to a complete stop if necessary, all without driver input.

Jeep has always done an impressive job of making sure that their customers get the choices they need to make sure that their vehicle fits their desired lifestyle. In the case of the 2021 Gladiator, you will be able to choose between two different engines. The base engine here is a 3.6-liter V6, which outputs 285 horsepower and up to 260 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard with this engine. The other available engine that we are looking at is a 3.0-liter diesel V6, which can generate around 442 pound-feet of torque and up to 260 horsepower. This engine works with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

What is the trim lineup for the Gladiator?

You will be able to choose between four trim levels when you check out the Gladiator. The base trim that we are looking at is Sport. This trim comes with an eight-speaker audio system, crank windows, one USB port, voice control capability, a five-inch central display, cruise control, a manual adjustable tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and manual door locks. You'll even find a fold-down front windshield, removable doors, and a folding soft top. Another trim, Overland, adds in two USB ports, power door and tailgate locks, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated power mirrors, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The top trim is Mojave, which includes a reinforced frame, a 1-inch lift for the front suspension, and a transfer case.

What are some of the safety features that you can get?

After you're done looking at the engine lineup and the available trim levels, it's time to see what this truck can give you as far as safety is concerned. Some of the best available driver safety aids include forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, and blind-spot monitoring.
