What engines are available?

Four impressive engines are available for the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Most trims come with either a 3.6-liter V6 with 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque or a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. Both engines provide you with more than enough power, with the V8 being the go-to for towing. For a high-performance, the Grand Cherokee SRT has a 6.4-liter V8 that pumps out 475 horsepower, while the Trackhawk uses a turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 that rips out an unprecedented 707 horsepower that can scream to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds or less. The V6 has the option of either rear-wheel or four-wheel-drive, while the V8 comes standard with four-wheel-drive. All Grand Cherokees use an eight-speed automatic transmission and can tow up to 7,400 pounds.

The base Laredo comes with a Uconnect system with a high-resolution 7-inch touchscreen, blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors, and a rearview camera. Stepping up to the Limited adds to this with a power liftgate, power front seats, power sunroof,and heated front seats. Higher-level trims come with more creature comforts, including a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, ventilated front seats, and a Harmon Kardon audio system. The Trailhawk adds some impressive off-road features such as the Quadra-Drive II four-wheel-drive system.

The base Laredo comes with a blind-spot monitoring system with rear cross-traffic alert, which monitors the blind-spot areas both beside and behind the Grand Cherokee to help you make safer lane changes. Other trims add adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and lane-keep assist, which can move the Grand Cherokee back into its lane if it happens to drift. Also available is automatic emergancy braking, which automatically applies the brakes if a collision appears imminent, and the driver takes no action.
